Re: ITEMS FOR SALE OR WANTED
Hi Al
I'm afraid the files for the next issue of The Directory have been sent to the printers. As you will see in the back of The Directory anything for inclusion into the mag does have to be in for the end of October. I'm sorry about this.

Re: ITEMS FOR SALE OR WANTED
OK,I accept that I missed the deadline for this issue.
Please keep my list for the next issue and I will amend it if I find any of the parts, although that seems very unlikely.
How do I get a list of parts that the Club has for sale, or do the members who have some spares just hang on to them and don't offer them to new members? Silly part is I own a machine shop and I can pretty much copy any part anyone would ever want, including body parts, but it presumes I can get an original to copy of course.
I know that there were'nt millions of FB's ever made but the spares situation for body parts and wheels seems especially bleak, and being in the Colonies just seems to add to the difficulties of finding the simplest parts. We rely on the internet because that is simply the best way of instant communication with time differences/work hours etc added in, and while it has revolutionized the search for obscure parts in most cases, I seem to be going nowhere with my search..........or is it
just me?
The other side to the coin is that I was at Western Canada's only fall swap meet last weekend, and I would'nt recognise an FB wheel if it fell on top of me, so I ended up buying four wheels which looked correct, and when I got them home, they all turned out to be wrong, albeit I now have four obscure and unknown wheels to sell.
If anyone out there in Canada or the US [or Oz or NZ for that matter- Im from Oz but have family in NZ also] reads this and wants to communicate and share/sell parts and tips, email me..................
