First time I have seen pictures of this version. I would like that in my shed.

Is this a special or an original model? I always thought the Stag was the only four stroke FB offered?

No very much a production model ! first FB's were JAP engine in a brazed lug frame copied from the Invicta that was one of the acquisitions when FB bought the lower Ford St depot from Bayliss Thomas ( Invicta, Morarch and Excelsior|) The "built like a bridge" came out for the 1923 season when the Villiers engine was fitted, but JAP engines were offered in this frame until about 1927
