Falcon 87 20T

Post  peter@dunfordconstruction on Thu Jan 04, 2018 12:28 pm

I am Sure my problem with my Falcon 87 is something simple BUT!  The Bike has been refurbished stem to stearn including the engine.  At first go before Xmas the Bike started first kick no problems.  Then the clutch adjustment screw went slack so all that was put right.  However now the bike will not even bump start!  Carburettor (all brand new parts) taken off all working fine no blockages. Terrific spark from plug Lodge HH14. Good compression.    Still will not start any one any ideas????

Poor starting

Try tipping a thimble full of fuel direct into the plug and see if it fires. You will at least know if it's fuel or spark.
Is the choke working. I had one choke cable that was made wrong and even fully on the slide was not completely down
