1959 falcon

Post  S.C_07 on Wed Nov 22, 2017 11:16 pm

Hi there I have a 1959 falcon with a 10e engine , coming close to finishing restoring it and wanting to ride it . As Iím 17 I wasnít sure if I would be able to ride this bike on my CBT license as it is a 200cc , however doing some reaserch , on my licence I can ride a bike with a power of up to 11kW . Will my bike fit into this power range . Iím not entirely sure what it means by KW either so if someone could explain that too that would be great .
Thanks
Scott

P.s Iím aware after 60 years it will have lost a lot of power but if someone could tell me what it would have been factory that will be great , as I really canít afford to get my bike on a dyno 😂

8.4BHP @ 4000RPM using a conversion chart this give a reading of 6.23KW so well within the 11KW limit

Provisional licenses also restricts to less than 125cc I'm afraid ...
