Post  piston 197 on Wed Nov 15, 2017 1:11 pm

???? never a cruiser always a Falcon 87 one for static shots and one for moving stuuf, one has chrome shrouds on the forks one has green, they are both in a mueum somewhwere ( Yorkshire i think) , but years ago at Shepton Mallett one was for auction with Nick Berry's police helmet and coat and some memorabillia, and the other one was on a dealers stall at the same event

Heartbeat bikes

Both the Francis Barnetts and the BSA A10s were in the Craven collection on the outskirts of York when I visited last year, along with some of the other vehicles used in the series including the ambulance.

Yep. Most of the vehicles and all the bikes supplied by Dick Craven from the Craven collection. It's where I toddle off to when I get stuck on how something is meant to look...apart from the DC modifications! Great place to while away a few hours.

FP Police Bikes

Post  FB vincent on Thu Nov 16, 2017 8:42 am

If you use the Forum 'Search' function you will find more info on FB Police bikes, here's one thread:

http://fboc.niceboards.org/t3551-interesting-police-spec-falcon-87?highlight=police

I own one of several late ex police Cruiser 89's that survive, so I am always interested to hear about other police bikes. Not much chance of creeping up silently and unexpectedly to catch the criminal on a FB though .................
