Can anyone identify these pistons?

Post  rob spence on Tue Sep 19, 2017 12:37 pm

Hello,
I have these two pistons...I'm presuming the piston on the left is a normal 197 (8E) piston.
What is the piston on the right? It has the same dimensions (59mm) but cut outs and thinner ring grooves.
Any ideas?

One on the left is 6,7,8,9,10,11e 197 piston, other looks the same but has been shortened at the skirt and ported, probably ex Go-Kart, there are 4 different ring configurations
3/32". 1/16", 1.5mm and Dykes on various Hepolite pistons
