Manuals ( not Manuel)

Post  piston 197 on Mon Sep 11, 2017 3:40 pm

Have sent you a p.m. with telephone contact No for club librarian Mike Daykin, it is the old fashioned way, but always easier for the computer novice ( like me!)

Hi Ernie, I have a 59 Plover 30c engine, the bike does not need a battery to run, the flywheel magneto handles the sparks completely independent of a battery. Your bike may have direct lighting which does not need a battery otherwise some plovers had a rectifier and battery lighting system. Either way there has to be a wire coming from the lighting coils fitted behind the flywheel.Should not be difficult to get a manual for the 30c engine.
