hi everyone it s ernie does anyone have a instruction book for sale for a 1957 plover.trying hard to renovate said bike need to get too know has much as pos thanks for any help I can get

Hi Ernie, I have a 59 Plover 30c engine, the bike does not need a battery to run, the flywheel magneto handles the sparks completely independent of a battery. Your bike may have direct lighting which does not need a battery otherwise some plovers had a rectifier and battery lighting system. Either way there has to be a wire coming from the lighting coils fitted behind the flywheel.Should not be difficult to get a manual for the 30c engine.
