Double lift centre stand

I have a 1956 F-B Cruiser 75 with a Double lift centre stand that has been fudged to just operate in the high position with some parts now missing. I would like to revert to the double lift, as at present it is quite hard to get onto its stand. I would be grateful for any help mainly either drawings or sketches or photos of the double lift parts. I have a copy of the Motor Cycle sketch but this does not show enough detail for me to fabricate the missing parts. I am an engineer and have access to workshop facilities to make up the parts that are missing. I am near Banbury in Oxfordshire and would ideally like to see a bike with a working double lift stand so that I could see how it works and get the relevant details and dimensions, etc. Thank you,

Cams

Some of us are working on the 2 cam shapes. I have been given a template, from which I drew in cad the shape. I made the shapes in perspex, (my laser won't cut metal) sent them back to the other person for checking. We are now waiting to check the details of the crusier 84 versions. When all is OK, we'll get some metal ones laser cut.

cams for double lift stand

Hi all, Moscow Flyer (thanks Mike) has sent me one of the perspex patterns for the cam which Big Jim has produced (part No.6794, for the Cruiser 84).& asked me to check it. Whilst the profile is correct, & matches the pattern I have, (& made my stands from), the actual size is wrong, it needs to be about 3/32" bigger all round & slightly thicker !

lifting cams

I made 2 cams of differing shapes, as supplied by the other Mike. Which one have you got? The almost mirror image one (2 circles with a dip joining them. Or the almost Oval type.
I knew about the thickness but I have access to 3mm Perspex off cuts by the bucket load. Planning to get them in 4mm steel. Mosco Mike drew round his and sent me a drawing. Could you do the same? I will PM you the details.

cruiser 84 etc lifting cams

Here's what I have now got re the highlift cams. Thanks to Mike Sayer, for giving me the definitive Cruiser 84 cam profile.  The image shows 2 other cams of which I have no idea what they are for, help is required.
If people are after new C84 cams I can get a quote for some to be made.  Just PM me if you are interested

Cam profiles

They will be Cruiser 80 ( AMC 250) and Cruiser 71,75 ( Villiers 225) one left handed and one right as exhaust exits on different sides with the 2 engines, can' remember which is which, but think the left one is the 71/75 and the middle one is Cruiser 80 ???
