No body would listen

Post  Gyrocopter on Sun Jul 02, 2017 7:40 pm

3 Months ago I posted on this forum that I required a pair of front footrest for a plover 78 with no replies Again I posted another post Rare Francis Barnett which I had several replies but still no footrest
I am sure out there someone with a Plover 78 could take some photos with measurements for me so I can fabricate a pair.  Would not take long for someone to do this if they have a Plover. Or was I right in saying Rare Francis Barnett, as no one in the owners club have a plover

Hi Gyrocopter I have a Plover 78 and have noted some details for you but being fairly new I have never downloaded a photo here before, fingers crossed.

Can anyone help this guy.

Post  bessybarnett on Sun Jul 02, 2017 10:26 pm

I am sure someone out there could help Gyrocopter. Surely there must be a pair of spare front footrests languishing in someone's shed? Perhaps for a James Cadet L15. I don't know but is that not a similiar model?

How about asking the guys at Villiers Services. They may know of one being broken up.

Or ask Vale-Onslow Motorcycles on Stratford Road, Birmingham. If you have a part number all the better.

You may have tried them all and drawn a blank. Anyway these are only my non expert thoughts.

Best of luck with your search

Pete

P.S. just noticed Mollbhan has beaten me too it and supplied you with some drawings. Brilliant.

Might I suggest a little common courtesy. No one is required to answer your questions or provide help and advise on this forum. We do so out of the kindness of our hearts. Please and thank you go a long way.
