Villiers MK111 carb

Villiers MK111 carb

Post  Mollbhan on Mon May 15, 2017 9:12 pm

Hi everybody,
I have a 1939 Plover, Villiers MK111 carb, engine will not run with the choke/mixture needle lever pushed all the way forward as the needle seems to go too far down and presumably shuts off the fuel. There does not seem to be any adjustment for the needle apart from the cable which does not have an adjuster fitted to it. Can a new cable with an adjuster be bought off the shelf and where would I get one?
I am new on the FB scene and it probably shows.
Thanks Colin.
