Villiers Points Mounting Plate and Crankshaft Spacer

Post  ChrisTurner on Wed May 10, 2017 3:25 pm

9E/32a/34a Points Mounting Plate Needed. Anyone out there have one surplus to requirements? Condition not important as I can fabricate one if I have a pattern to work from. Alternatively, if someone could trace round one showing the outline, the pillar and the various holes locations, I would be very grateful. Also need the spacer to fit between the two driveshaft main bearings, or accurate dimensions if available. Thanks.

What you really need is the updated back plate to utilise FORD style points. No silly springs to go ping.
Various people make/supply these. Peter Savage made them, until his illness, took over. I hear he is recovering. DOTs made their own version.
re the spacer contact Steve @ Villiers services
