Francis Barnette Plover - wipac 141

Post  Davidohyeah on Tue Apr 11, 2017 2:31 pm

Dear All,
I am trying to get a Francis Barnette Plover going for an elderly gentlemen who would 'like to see her go',
I am reasonably happy with the ignition side, what is a bit of a mystery is the charging side.
It seem to have two coil bobbins, each with two coils on them. Each opposing set appear to be in-series with each other, the first on is earther to the plate, the second delivers two leads.
Should the 'earthed' coil go to the light switch. And the other seperate one provides 2 phases to the rectifyer?
How should this be connected?
any help would be grately recieved.
Regards
David
