Motorcycle Show at the Waterways Museum, Goole.

Post  colk2004 on Sat Apr 01, 2017 1:26 pm

https://www.facebook.com/events/577833949082014/ . Been a few years on the trot now to this little show and if the weather is good it has a great turn out. Trips round the harbour on a boat used to be 5 for an hour, bacon butties and coffee on sale and for the Yorkshireman in us all - free entry and free parking. There is always something out of the ordinary at this little show - Egli Vincents, Itom GP racers, even a powerbike 56! If the weather is good there is nothing better than sitting at the side of the river with a bacon sarnie and talking rubbish motorbikes.

Waterways Museum Bike Show

Post  colk2004 on Sat Apr 01, 2017 6:22 pm

If the sun shines it's a cracking day out. Last year the bikes were out of the museum and into next doors. With cars and bikes parked outside for hundreds of yards. It attracts stuff that is sort of out of kilter with where and what the place is. But wet weather kills it stone dead. Last years stunner for me was an immaculate Hercules Wankel Rotary.
