Loud silencer.

Post  Andrewwoey on Thu Mar 30, 2017 8:14 pm

I have a standard looking aftermarket silencer on my Falcon 74 and its way to loud. I love the 2 stroke noise but this is too loud. I think i woke up many people on my 2am, 17mile ride home from work the other night.
Which of the aftermarket silencer suppliers are at a sensible sound level? My other choice is a Suzuki X7 silencer that i have on the shelf. I have heard of this conversion before.

You could try fitting a better baffle. See my Noisy Seagull post. Before you butcher it, an X7 pipe is a pretty rare and valuable thing.

Thanks for the information. I will look up your posting. The X7 pipe is rough, so its ok to trial fit it, though i would prefer the standard looking pipe
