No Spark will not start

Post  JohnB on Sun Feb 19, 2017 6:24 pm

Help / Advice needed. After getting my plover running for several minutes it stopped and would not restart. On checking I discovered there was no spark at plug or HT lead. the points gap was ok and no pitting. Had previously fitted a new condenser. Q. Could the problem lie with the coil/s? Appreciate any help
Thanks

Or has the flywheel moved on the shaft ?
Villiers engine Plover 73,78 remove flywheel and re-time, so arrow on flywheel aligns with timing mark on backplate
AMC engine plover 86,95 and model 96 has the key sheared and the flywheel moved , Remove flywheel and check
