Clutch dismantle

Hi there , i have a 1959 falcon with a 10 e engine and a 3 speed gear box , ive taken the side casing off and i want to dismantle the clutch as the plates look nasty and they are sticking together. However i cant figure out how to dismantle the clutch , it seems the nut cap ( as its called in the manual ) is drawn inwards and its just proving really dificult to dismantle . Can anyone suggest a step by step solution to my dilema
