Cruiser 89 brake switch assy

Post  Oily2471 on Fri Dec 02, 2016 10:00 pm

Hi again all I recently bought a NOS brake lever assy for my 89 as it did not have one fitted at all.
Is someone able to photograph the set up and cable run for me please and also what is the small tube on the chain guard near the front for?
Thanks again Oily

Hi Mike that is perfect and exactly what I have. Could you add the wording to the right of the picture also please? Now I can see I may also need a spacer inside the front guard behind the long welded tube.
Cheers

Hi Paul,
sorry about that, I don't know why it does that in this high tec world we live in! I definitely scanned it all. Mike

STOP LIGHT SWITCH
ORTIONAL EXTRA
Leads continue up centre
section, after emerging
from plastic tube, which
passes through chain
guarding, beneath, and as
close as possible to attach-
ment bolt.

The brake stop shown
exploded needs to be
removed altogether.
