What model

Post  Cornishman on Thu Aug 04, 2016 6:35 am

Hello to you all..a new owner here and looking for some advice please..I know its always the way...anyway I have just got a Falcon..first registered in 1964 and in very good condition, but I was reading through the forum and I see there are different model Falcons type 87 mine has a three speed box and so I am guessing it is a type 81, is there a way I can verify this using the chassis number? many thanks.

The Falcon 81 chassis No begins ZN ( 1958 ) and AN (1959), the Falcon 87 numbers begin BF , CF etc.
