Numbers

Post  piston 197 on Mon Aug 01, 2016 4:47 pm

Think you are reading the numbers ( or typing them) incorrectly ??
Engine should be V15T start and is an AMC 15T engine that was assembled for them by Villiers, hence the "V"
And think the frame No begins F95 and NOT F45 as you state ?? This would make it a Plover 95 ( F is the identifier for 1964 models)from 1964 year model ( August 1963 to September 1965) Started with F95 751 in Aug.1963 and ended F95 1489 in Sept 1964.
So if yours does indeed start F95 and is then followed by 8978 it has too many numbers and is too high ??
are you reading this from the logbook or looking at what is actually on the bike
