Plover 73 Front Brake Pads

Post  allen astell on Wed Jul 13, 2016 10:46 am

I want to replace the front brake pads on my Plover 73 (1956). What is the depth of the pad when new?

Brake SHOE thickness

Measure the inside diameter of the hub, should be approx. 4 1/2" inch, put the shoes without linings onto the brake plate and measure this diameter , divide the difference between the two measurements by 2 and the material thickness will be slightly thinner than that measurement ??
