Hi members my name is Luke can somebody help me please.
I've removed the covers which cover the bearings how do I remove the wheel bearings do they tap out I don't what to damage them by taping to hard.

removing bearngs

Place one nut back on the end of the thread to protect it, then hit this nut with a mallet, this will remove the spindle and one bearing, then place a drift ( hammer handle or similar) from the opposite end and hit out the other bearing.
When refitting use rubber shielded bearings, you can do away with the seals if you wish then, or put them back in if you wish?
This is assuming you have the fixed spindle, cannot remember if the 96 has a thru spindle?
Of it does put a smaller diameter bar than the spindle in from one end and locate it against the opposite bearing, knock this out and repeat for the other end
