Hi, What is the Metalic Green paint for the Model 96 called and is it still available anywhere.

Frank, it was just referred to as "light green ", but all AMC paints were ICI colours and shared with British Leyland cars i.e Arden Green, Dover white Tartan red etc Tartan red was a Mini colour, Arden green and Dover white were a Rover colour, so may be worth looking at some BLMC colours ?

I never managed to find a recipe for this green, fortunately I have a NOS painted side panel and had some mixed when I restored mine. I think I may have some in a small pot tucked away but it's years old now and probably of no use but I'll have a look.
That's my bike (CVT 81C) in Arthur Gents book page 180 wrongly labelled as a Plover 95.
