K = 1940
C = seagull model 47
BYX is a 17A Villiers 250cc flat topped piston engine
Gearbox should be a 4 speed footchange Albion

Thank you for the info. Would the motor be from the same year as the bike is not assembled. How would I identify the gearbox it has the following serial number A2257. I am trying to see if these would be from the bike originally. Thank you for your help

The Motor is of the correct type, gearbox should be a 4 speed footchange Albion

But as FB made the frame with their chassis No
Villiers made the engine with their engine No
Albion made the gearbox with their gearbox No
AND there being no factory records, you are not going to have a lot of hope other than an original logbook tying up the engine and frame No ?
