Hi Bob,

Assuming that you have got a standard Villiers (Lucas) headlamp switch to replace the old 4 position switch on your Cruiser 75 ?, connect the new one as follows:
Terminal 1 - Yellow wire (ac feed from small diameter pin on twin plug.)
Term 2 - Wire to head lamp dip switch. Term 3 - Wire to Ammeter (Purple ?)
Term 4 - Wire to parking lamp. Term 5 - 2 Black wires to speedo and rear light.
Terminals 6 and 7 not used. i.e. all the existing wires move round one terminal anti-clockwise
I have not actually examined one of these switches so I am not sure of the method of connection, but the green wire needs to be connected to the left hand lever, which appears to be just above terminal 7. Note. If this wire is not connected the battery charge rate will not be sufficient when head lamp selected.
Hope this helps.
Regards Dave.
