1950 FB Falcon 54 Front Wheel Spindle Nuts

Seem to be struggling with these Sleeve Nuts, identified as the reason for my wobbly front wheel in earlier topics..  Made a MK 1 version, then realised the split hole in the fork end had become very unevenly worn so that had to be milled even before the mk2 were produced.
Great BUT there seems to be a problem with the front wheel spindle thread.
I took it as 1/2" cyc 26tpi.  BUT it is'nt,  it now looks like 24 tpi..
Could someone please confirm the size  and thread form of the front wheel spindle before I move on to MK 3 Sleeve Nuts..  Thanks...CB
