SN 3153/17 is off a Tiger cub ( different ratio drive and Smaller wheels hence the error) the correct No's for a falcon 87 are
for 1960 SN3153/55
1961 ditto
1962 ditto
1963 SN3170/09
1964 SSM2001/02
1965 ditto
The SSM series for 1964 and 65 are grey faced earlier SN and SC are black faced
Any and all will fit and work as the drive is the same 2/1 gearbox and the wheel sizes are constant.
Hope that helps ?

Thanks John, that explains why cars keep overtaking me when I think I am doing
30MPH.

The Trials Cub used larger wheels.  Try Greystone Enterprises in Whitstable, if you get no luck elsewhere -
