Merlin front brake link

Hi I am looking for a link to join the front brake lever to the cable. I imagine its the similar to the one on the kestrel as per photos below. All suggestions welcome.

Merlin Front Brake Link

Hi Bill, I don't know, but it could come as part of the cable as shown in the pic below, this is a front brake cable for the Merlin 52. Mike

CABLE

I can confirm ,the merlin and falcon cables up to 1954 come with the link as part of the cable and is not removeable (well you can always cut the cable) The Kestrel link is rivetted to the cam arm.

That explains why I don't have one. My bike came less levers and cables of any kind. I guess no one makes them today I will have to keep an eye out for a suitable clevis.

Same prob on my Falcon. Bought a Venhill universal front brake cable from VS, then ordered a clevis & clevis pin online from Venhill directly. Assembled clevis & soldered on nipple.

Always worth asking ,i still have approx 300 boxed original Romac FB cables( and some James cables) in green and black outers !
