Falcon 87 fork clamp for mudguard

Post  thejim on Thu Mar 14, 2013 11:36 am

Morning chaps,

On closer inspection, it would appear that one of the few missing bits on my bike is the nearside clamp that hold the front mudguard to the fork leg. I have googled to try and work out what they are called and to try and obtain one- to no avail.

Does anybody have any idea as to what they are called and whether they are available from anywhere?

Ta, Jim

fork clips

Post  chrisc on Thu Mar 14, 2013 1:54 pm

First of all Jim, Welcome to the forum,I too have recently started a restoration of a Falcon87 ,and quite new here too,my bike also arrived in various boxes, some of the parts are in a poor state, but the majority of the bike is in reasonable nick .the parts you are looking for are called fork clips part Numbers are 003199 for Right Hand clip and 003020 for the Left Hand clip. I got this info from a parts list, which a very helpful member of the forum (Chris Turner) sent me on P.D.F. if you need a copy ,P.M. me and i will try and send it on tonight.unfortunately i'm not sure of the best place to get the parts ,If you look back at one of my postings "How Much!" you will see what i mean lol.anyway very best of luck with your project
Regards Chris
