I don't think you will find a workshop manual for just the 9D.
You can still find on e bay The Villiers Motor Cycle Maintenance and Repair book by B E Browning 2nd Edition NOTE the later Editions does not cover the 9D.
It covers most things you need.

Hi Pablo, Bill is quite right, I got this information from B.E.Browning's book, my copy is the second edition reprint 1952. They come up fairly often on eBay, but you need to check with the seller, that it covers the 9D. I have a 1960 edition in which there is no mention of it. Mike

I have just had the flywheel off my 9D about 6 times and they are quite easy to get off. The nut is a normal right hand thread, Use a 1/2 bar with the socket on the nut and hold the brass flywheel with your hand with a rubber glove on and give the bar a few hard knocks with a rubber mallet and the nut will unscrew.
The nut will go tight again so keep hitting the bar untill the taper releases between the crank and the flywheel and the nut will go slack and the nut will uncsrew bringing the flywheel with it.
One but of advice is to see where the arrow is on the flywheel at T.D.C and put it back in the same place.
The armature plate behind the flywheel unscrews from the crankcase and then you can remove the coils e.c.t but I think the magnets are an integral part of the flywheel and can not be changed.
Good luck and once I manage to get mine to run again I will be a happy person.
