Clutch Cable

Post  Simo on Wed May 02, 2012 7:10 pm

hi chaps
I have a Merlin with an 8E engine fitted for trials. Can anyone tell me best place to get a new clutch cable from. its about 48" long and adjuster end at gearbox seems to be 1/4 BSF current cable fitted is 8mm adjuster but I have just changed the gearbox and original thread is much smaller than cable I have. I dont want to open out and tap new box, to acommodate cable.

Many Thanks
Mark

If you can Solder, and I mean properly, You can buy a kit from Venhill. They stock everything that you could need - metric and imperial sizes in Nipples, Adjusters, Rubber boots, inner and outer Cable and in various colours too.
