Diesel barnett

Well I may as well tell you as you will find out.
It was the day of a local run and I wanted the Falcon to go its best so decided to top up with the top grade petrol. Only afterwards did I find out Shell ultimate is Bloody Diesel.
So I can verify a 2 stroke will run on Diesel if you hold the tickler down and smokes like hell. A kind man went and got me a can some pipe and 5L of fresh fuel. Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

The 4 stroke in the pics was a 30's Francis Barnett stag with the 250cc Blackburne engine also available in a slightly sportier red as the red stag.JH

I can understand why you never made it then Ken. I think the trials bike might have been a works job, I spoke to the bloke breifly it was a 25T engine so they cant be all bad he got the distance award!

Oh thanks for the invite but that would be too far for me Ken, anyway the 81 is gone now and it'll be a few months before the 87 will be up and running!
