Royal Enfield Bullet Classic EFI

Post  bessybarnett on Thu Jan 06, 2011 10:38 am

Hi Malc and others,

I know this is an FB forum site, but I understand you also ride an Enfield. What are your thoughts and advice on the relatively new Royal Enfield Bullet Classic? Have you had much feedback from other RE owners?

I saw it at Stafford in the Autumn and wondered what others thought.

Any comments would be welcome.

Thanks

Pete

Enfield

We had a demonstration night at our VMCC late last year and they brought along the full range. We rode all of them. Its a fantastic engine and very flexible It will pull from almost idle to its max Not real rapid but would do over 80 easy and supposed to be very economical. Brakes were good and so was the steering Electiric start. I have to say its the most comftable bike i have ever sat on. Not sure how the price compares now but i would have one. Dont know where you live but another demonstration is on for this year.

RE Classic Bullet

Post  bessybarnett on Fri Jan 07, 2011 10:31 am

Ken, thanks for your comments. I must admit I am quite impressed all the RE's particularly the Classic. I live in the Midlands, so I may pop along to Charnwood Classic Restorations, in Shepshed sometime and check out their demos. Thanks again.

Malc, Good idea, I will take you up on your suggestion to register with the RE Forum, sounds the best way to review the bikes. Thanks for yor help.
