FRAUD WARNING

Post  the-oz-s on Sun Nov 07, 2010 9:29 pm

FRAUD WARNING;
It finally happened, Ive been defrauded by MORRIS GOODWILL of 48 West Road South Yorkshire S64 9NL UK, phone 44-702-406-9597. He claimed to have a nearly new YAMAHA XS1 seat, mirrors and headlight shell and brackets in original green. After the money changed hands by Western Union all my spidy senses started telling me it was a scam. This was reinforced when he told me that the shipment would be made through interparcelexpress.co.cc, and he made the mistake of answering the phone at that 'business" when I phoned trying to find the parcel.
Magically then he claimed the Irish Customs department is holding the items pending me paying $95 in fees.
Clearly interparcelexpress is part of his scam also.

Lesson learned, I have never been scammed before and hope never to again. Biggest lesson learned is dont use your own email adress on forums and dont EVER pay by Western Union, its the payment method of choice for scammers and ne'r-do-wells.....

Heads up that he found my parts request off the Vintage Japanese Owners Club website and forum, so he will be trolling for more victims. I have my in-house fraud guys going after him, but dont hold out much hope of seeing my $250 back. I am contacting the UK Police, but they have other stuff to worry about, but its worth a call and an email or two......

By all means tell the police, these people are scumbags, and maybe it's a crime? Hope you can do something anyway. I was scammed by a bloke in Preston for some Bullet parts off Ebay once, but fortunately I used Paypal, and they charged the money back for me from him. Took a few months, but at least I got my money back.

Singapore Calendar Guys My Calender Guys Failed to delivier the products purchased.

Post  Tinkle on Sun Jul 03, 2011 8:03 pm

On the 15th Nov 2010 I completed an online purchase of calendars from the My Calendar Guys dot com shop and payment of 79.00 USD was made to LEE TERH LOON RAY via the Pay Pal. A 6 to 8 week deleivery of items was indicated by the web site.

After the 8 weeks had expired and nothing had arrived I enquired of the web site the status of the delivery to determine if it has even shipped yet bcoz there has been no shipping notice sent to my email address. No response was forthcomming on the 25th Jan 2011.

On the 28th Jan 2011 in a further attempt to communicate with the people behind the website I indicated I would have no option but to refer the matter to Pay Pal to which I my IP Adress was immediately blocked.

Subsequent inquires at Pay Pal indiacted that Pay Pal operate on a 45 day limit and no further options are available on the Pay Pal web site to take the matter further. So now it looks as though the whole things is nothing more than a trick. The 6 to 8 weeks delivery notice ensure that Pay Pal web site automaticially closes the inquiry due to the 45 day time limit. Mr LEE TERH LOON RAY if that is even his real name is able to operate a Pay Pal account in which his web site clearly exceeds the 45 days imposed by Pay Pal but their is no action available on either web site to seek a remedy. Mr LEE TERH LOON RAY would appear to be nothing RIPOFF merchant...
